As you may have noticed, I, in a search for a name fraught with the kind of desperation usually reserved for quiz nights, decided to call this very blog popcornaddiction. As well as instantly lip-servicing my preferred cinematic snack, the choice of name also has something to say about by taste in movies; while I of course appreciate the artistry characteristic of auteur filmmaking, I have an undeniable weak spot for anything big, brash and preferably block-busting.
